Peruvian Maca Root Extract Capsules 250mg
Equivalent to 1250mg raw root
Maca is a well known adaptogen (helps the body cope with stress), it may boost energy and stamina and is thought to help balance hormones by acting on the hypothalamus and pituitary glands.
It is also thought to be beneficial to mood, mental health and even libido. It has been traditionally used as a fertility aid.
It is a nutritionally rich food source, but is also a powerhouse of minerals (calcium, selenium, iron, magnesium), omega 6 (linoleic) and omega 9 (oleic) fatty acids as well as 19 amino acids.
Directions
- Take 1-3 capsules daily at least 30 minutes before food. It stomach upset occurs, take with food.
